The party responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

Email: info@taxi-limousine-service.com

As a matter of principle, we only process personal data of our users to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Processing generally takes place only with the user’s consent or where permitted by law.

If you contact us via the contact/inquiry form, by email or by phone, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, pick-up and destination, date, number of passengers) in order to handle your request and arrange an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your request).

Some of our inquiries are handled via WhatsApp (provider: WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms). If you contact us via WhatsApp, the data you transmit as well as metadata are processed by WhatsApp. Please note that Meta may also transfer data to the USA. The legal basis is your consent through actively contacting us (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in fast communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

In order to carry out the rides and tours you request, we forward the necessary data (e.g. name, pick-up and destination, date, time, number of passengers) to executing, licensed local partners in Egypt. This disclosure takes place solely for the purpose of providing the service on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

When you access our website, information (e.g. browser type, operating system, referrer URL, IP address, time of request) is automatically stored in server log files. This serves to ensure trouble-free operation and security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Our website uses technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the site (legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cookies that are not technically necessary (e.g. for statistics or advertising) are only set with your consent.

We embed maps from Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.) to display locations. Your IP address may be transmitted to Google and possibly to the USA. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in an appealing presentation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We display publicly available Google reviews on our website (via the Google Places API). Only content that users have publicly published on Google (name, rating, text) is shown.

If you consent, we use Google services (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Ireland Ltd.) to statistically evaluate the use of our website and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (conversion tracking). Cookies may be set and data may be transferred, including to the USA. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. These services are only activated if you have given your consent.

We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the stated purposes or as required by statutory retention periods. The data is then deleted.

You have the right to information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and a right to object (Art. 21). You can revoke any consent given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

To exercise your rights, an informal email is sufficient: info@taxi-limousine-service.com

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services.
